According to Senator Pimentel, he took the COVID-19 test on Friday and only received the results late on Tuesday evening, while he was in the hospital with his wife, Kathryna, who is due to give birth.
The name of the senator became one of the trending topics on social media as netizens denounced his alleged reckless and arrogant behavior.
In addition, the majority of the netizens demanded the resignation of Senator Pimentel for the latest incident.
